ECH 210B DT programming for PHRT7

ECH 210B DT programming for PHRT7

Messagepar Kaspars » Jeu Mar 30, 2017 9:16 pm

Bonjour!

Hello! Sorry that I'm writing in English.
I have Baxi Ambiflo 7.5kW unit that is rebranded Technibel PHRT7. We have removed burned water heater and bought ECH 210B DT controller becasue old one was burned. Problem is - we need settings for ECH 210B DT controller before we can start the system. Maybe you guys can help?

Thank you,
Kaspars

One more question - is it possible to program it via controllers interface, or I have to make serial connector and program it via computer software?

hi
.. is it possible to program it via controllers interface, or I have to make serial connector and program it via computer software?

you have different choices:

1) without hardware and software, only enter or control each parameter individually

2) through the ECH's com port with hardware adapter (com port is TTL level), you program it via Eliwell software (paramanager, varmanager...)

3)you can also program it always with adapter and only a request Modbus software. parameters addresses are available in these pdf
http://www.chaleurterre.net/Documentations/Chanbon/Comm_Techni/8MA10205_ECH200BDT_Modbus_ENG_11-06.pdf
http://www.chaleurterre.net/Documentations/Chanbon/Comm_Techni/Modbus_sel_V3_FR.pdf

the hardware could simply be a (usb, ttl) adapter (e- board, with FDTI chip, less than 5€)
the connect wiring is available here http://www.chaleurterre.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=13516
the modbus freesoftware could be Modscan32,...
also this http://www.chaleurterre.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=14801&hilit=dial

4)the last solution, with an Eliwell copycard (arround 20€)
you download (pull parameters to copycard) from a functional ECH and upload (push) to new ECH.
the proceeding is describe in ECH user manual

Hello!
I'm trying to set heating temperature higher, but it doesn't allow to go higher than 35c. What could be the problem?

hi
http://pompechaleur.free.fr/Documentations/Technibel/ECH200BD.pdf
the H01 (upper limit on SP) parameter is certainly at 35

if it isn't available on ECH screen, you have to connect a pc to com port on ECH and modify H01 value or the H01 visibility value
everything is described in links given during March discu

Yes, I found that, but is it possible to access this parameter from unit, without connectiong to computer?
As external water heater is burned and is not working (it's disconnected and electric switches are making terrible noise sometimes) maybe it is possible to disable it with pa r13 setting to higher temperature?

disable what with increasing r13?
if you mean limitation SP (H01), the response is no

Okay, do you know where I can get programmer without making one myself? Shouldn't it be accessible from unit with password?

I mean, decrease temperature to minimum to ensure that unit doesn't try to connect to heater.

I want to increase water temperature to make hot water for domestic use and disable heater becaue it's burned and disconnected, but it still try's to connect to it and that is why electric switches are turning on and off at fast rate very loud.

2 ways to do:
if R15 isn't hidden on ECH screen, you have to change R15 from 1 to 0
or
if R15 hidden, then disconnect wire at port "H" at rear ; the 'electric swiches' or relay should be connected here; if not, send us an electrical drawing

.. do you know where I can get programmer without making one myself? Shouldn't it be accessible from unit with password?

at manufacturer but it's so easy to do
needs:
adapter TTL/USB or TTL/RS232 if rs232 available on pc ; cost < 10€ ; see post "modbus.."
free Modbus request software as Modscan32, Modbusrequestpro, Simplymodbus .....
few electrical wires
parameter address mapping ; on forum we have 2 available, depending version
time ; cost >>>>

Okay, I will order com to ttl adapter from ebay.
After reading controller with modbus software, where can i get parameter map in hex? I know it hould be somewhere in forums, but with google translate it's hard to find.

There are a lot of problems with this heat pump, heater unit already burned off 2 times, original Eliwell controller also burned, one of the Samson circulating pumps are also dead. I have got Eliwell controller in march from ebay and now I'm tying to set all the right parameters to controller and make it think there's no heater so it won't try to connect to it.

hi

i made a mistake saying H01 was hidden.
in fact it's hidden at "user level" but should be visible at higher level
this level is available after entering value "199" in menu PSS of ECH
the Hxx parameters are in "CNF" menu ; CNF as configuration

the proceeding to access is describe in ECH manual ( a little bit stressful!!)

for electrical heater, have you a e- drawing or send us a picture at rear of ECH to see wiring

hello,
why not simply open the breakers that connect to the heater?
